About Us
Our History & Vision
Founded by Alexander J. Amato, Amatones is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community music organization dedicated to uniting local musicians of all ages. We provide a supportive and creative space where artists can explore their passions, develop technical skills, and build meaningful connections.
Building on the success of our inaugural programs, Amatones is expanding to offer high-quality, affordable opportunities in choral music, instrumental performance, and educational workshops. Whether you are joining our summer choir or performing in our signature concert series, Amatones is a place to grow. We invite our members to embark on a journey of personal growth, character-building, and artistic exploration.
Our Mission
To enrich the cultural vitality of DuPage County by providing accessible musical experiences that empower performers to discover their unique artistic voices. Through choral, instrumental, and community programming, we foster lifelong musicianship, creativity, and the confidence to perform with excellence. We believe that music is a powerful, unifying force that fosters community and self-discovery.
Support Our Mission
As a nonprofit, Amatones relies on the generosity of our community. Your tax-deductible donations help us keep registration fees affordable and provide opportunities for young musicians.
